How It Works

The secret of the eco coat glass protection system lies in our proprietary graphed small-molecule polymer coating that’s applied by glass or window makers at point of manufacture.

Note – Our water based polymer becomes waterproof when dry.

Ease of Application:

There are many means of application depending on the needs and in-place processes of the plant so that there is little or no significant impact on manufacturing flow.

Tough, chemically resistant: Eco coat does not contain UV inhibitors, allowing surfaces to UV age equally (esp. painted surfaces) whether coated or not coated. Translucent: Eco coat covers every part of the window and frame enveloping it a consistent layer of protective shielding from the moment it is applied until it is easily removed using the environmentally safe release agent.

The unique molecular composition of eco coat allows it to chemically lock onto surfaces that it’s applied to, a particularly challenging proposition given the extremely smooth nature of glass.

While only a few microns in thickness (typically 3-4), eco coat is engineered to firmly hook itself into to the microscopic imperfections in the surface of the glass or frames.

Ease of Removal:

Eco coat’s water-based polymer converter-E is applied as part of the standard window cleaning process and actually converts eco coat into its component elements by breaking the molecular bonds that hold the polymer together. The coating is converted back into a water based polymer condition which can be emulsified in water.

This produces a safe by-product that will not harm the applicators, building, or environment.
